A Bheed Bhaad of colours on the ramp

Designer Purvi Doshi presented a new-age festive line on Day Three of the LFW.

A traditionally festive outfit that incorporates contemporary trends -- that's what Purvi Doshi's 'Bheed Bhaad' was all about at the LFW.

Bright colours mixed in joyfully with both Western and ethnic silhouettes that were for the most part free-flowing --like this creamy, voluminous blouse, boasting kangaroo pockets, worn over a multi-hued embroidered mini.

For the men, we have this saffron kurta, worn over white silk pants.

A purple cocktail is set off by a dual-sided overcoat, with stripes along the inside and ivory patterns on the outside.

Large dots adorn this soft drape, worn with a multi-print, long-sleeved blouse.

Solid blue, orange dots and multiple stripes come together on this wrap-around.

Short and flirty, the designer continues with the same colour scheme for this summer dress with headscarf.

These dhoti pants and ruffled kurta received quite a round of applause.

Here we have a shiny yellow pinstriped jumpsuit ending in shorts, along with a clashing dupatta.
