Model speak: 'You must know your strengths'

Indian supermodel Carol Gracias needs no introduction. Whether it's proving her mettle on Khatron ka Khilladi or dominating the runway with her haughty gaze and golden-bronze skin, this girl's definitely a winner.

Rediff.com caught up with the dusky, sultry beauty on the sidelines of Day Four of the Lakme Fashion Week. She told us a bit about herself and also the fabulous bridal wear she modelled for Virtues designers Ashish and Viral Parikh earlier today.

Tell us about the bridalwear you modelled.
It's just a gorgeous, gorgeous garment. I like how the designers used muted colours, so that not only can a bride wear it during her wedding, but even after that in the future.

What's your personal fashion style?
Every day is a different outfit, according to my mood. But most often I'm all about being comfortable. That's the most important thing.

Any advice for aspiring models?
Know your strengths and know your weakness. Also, not everyone is your friend in this industry, but you can still form some great, lifelong relationships.

'Have faith in your dreams'

Hemangi Pate has had an illustrious career up to this point, and shows no signs of slowing down.

We caught up with the leggy beauty just after she walked for designer Mandira Wirk.

What's your personal fashion sense?
Dresses, short dresses, whatever suits the occasion.

Exercise, diet and beauty tips?
I try to run thrice a week. As for food, I eat everything. And for skin care, I just have freshly cooked food, nothing out of the refrigerator.

A piece of advice for aspiring models.
Just have faith in your dreams. They'll take you wherever you want to go.
