Checking out the drool-worthy men in this season of the Indian Premiere League
I'm sitting with a glass of chilled lemonade as I write this feature. Because with the 'drool quotient' running high here, things are sure hotting up. I would suggest all you ladies get your chilled drink too as you read about the hunks to watch out for during IPL 6.
Sure, there are a few more good looking men but I chose to not include them on the list because being associated with molestation charges or lack of team spirit makes them very 'unattractive'. Sorry guys, but you fellows will just have to change if you want to make it to this list.
So here we are, the top 25 hottest men this IPL. In alphabetical order of the teams they represent.
Albie Morkel (Chennai Super Kings)
This South African all-rounder who loves hitting sixes, easily bowls ladies over with his 'faintly-there' casual stubble look. What a pit he's already happily married and a doting father of two.
Anirudha Srikkanth (Chennai Super Kings)
Image: Anirudha SrikkanthThe 26-year-old right-handed batsman from Chennai also has a famous father -- the one and only Kris Srikkanth. But that's not what makes us drool over him. It's his chocolate boy looks with his mop of black curly hair, aquiline nose and cute smile that nails it for us!
Ben Hilfenhaus (Chennai Super Kings)
Image: Ben HilfenhausPhotographs: Robert Cianflone/Getty Images
This right arm fast medium bowler from Australia celebrated his 30th birthday on March 15 this year. And this 30-year-old with his gentle demeanour, rough stubbled look, rippled muscles looks quite a head-turner even when he swings the golf club. When he sure makes us blush. Wonder why his ears turn red though!
Ben Laughlin (Chennai Super Kings)

He may be in his 30s but he looks anything but that. This Australian fast-medium bowler is best known for his deceiving slow delivery. But with his turquoise eyes, he sure has the looks of the boy-next-door-I-want-to-go-dancing-with.
Francois Du Plessis (Chennai Super Kings)

This 5 ft 11 inches tall 29-year-old from South Africa can be an important all rounder for the team, but with boy don't those dreamy looks make him seem like a character straight out of a Mills&Boons romance.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings)

Mercury rises when I see him (as it does with many other ladies across the country). He maybe India's 'Captain Cool', but MS Dhoni sure knows how to turn on the heat with his chiselled features and hands that you wished cupped your face!
Johan Botha (Delhi Daredevils)

Meet the right arm bowler from South Africa whose striking jawline and long fingers can really distract you from the game of cricket.
Unmukt Chand (Delhi Daredevils)

This almost 6 feet-tall batsman from Madhya Pradesh turned 20 on March 26. Unmukt Chand who brought the under-19 World Cup to India sure looks cute on the field and off it too (especially in that Pepsi advert as he locks horns with his seniors.)
David Miller (Kings XI Punjab)
Image: David MillerPhotographs: Sonia Recchia/Getty Images
Left-handed batsman and slow right hand bowler from South Africa. His golden hair and dimpled smile makes one want to walk with him on the beach on a moonlit night with the waves crashing on the feet.
Eoin Morgan (Kolkata Knight Riders)
Image: Eoin MorganPhotographs: Gareth Copley/Getty Images
This 5 feet 9 inches middle order batsman was born in Ireland. He began his career playing for Ireland and now plays for England. He's the only one who has scored ODI hundreds for two nations. With his deep brown hair, Eoin Morgan sure has the good looks of an Irish man and a to-die-for accent when he speaks. I sure would love to walk in the rain with him in the English countryside.
Manvinder Bisla (Kolkata Knight Riders)

You cannot miss this 29-year-old wicket keeper-batsman from Haryana with expressive eyes and the small cleft on the chin -- a lot like a friend you would want to spend your evenings chatting with over tea and samosa really!
Ryan ten Doeschate (Kolkata Knight Riders)

South Africa-born all rounder Ryan ten Doeschate who plays for the Netherlands has made a name for himself, being only the second Dutch player to be a part of IPL. But what catches one's eye is dimple on the upper right corner of his lips, the slight wrinkles near his eyes and his athletic body that makes one want to go on a never-ending sunset cruise with him -- alone.
Aiden Blizzard (Mumbai Indians)

Known to be an aggressive left-handed batsman from Australia, he sure has killer looks too. With his punky hairstyle and stubble, he could well pass off for a rockstar. And I would love to be serenaded by him!
James Franklin (Mumbai Indians)

A bowler from New Zealand, James Franklin towers over most other players with his 6 feet 5 inches frame. But his eyes sparkle like a naughty boy's and that's what makes this macho man oh so cute!
Nathan Coulter-Nile (Mumbai Indians)

This 26-year-old right arm fast bowler from Australia sure knows how to make the girls go ga-ga. And it's really quite simple. All he has to do is to look at you with those hazel brown eyes and say 'hello'. I won't blame you if you stare at him a few moments longer.
Sushant Marathe (Mumbai Indians)
Image: Sushant MaratheWith his set of perfect white teeth, this player most definitely has one of the most infectious smiles.
Eklavya Dwivedi (Pune Warriors India)
Image: Eklavya DwivediThe 25 year old batsman-wicketkeeper from Uttar Pradesh is a face to watch out for this IPL season. And if this young man does look at you at smile, you really would wish that he swept you off your feet and rode off with you on a white horse into the sunset.
Yuvraj Singh (Pune Warriors India)

Many a times, Yuvraj Singh has been called a flirt. For me he is a fighter. That's his charm. And of course, his strong arm muscles coupled with his soft smile makes him a man perfect to spend a few days on a deserted island with.
Brad Hodge (Rajasthan Royals)
Image: Brad HodgePhotographs: Hamish Blair/Getty Images
He looks like one of those princes from our childhood bed time stories. So, even though this 37-year-old Australian batsman has retired from first class cricket so that younger players get a chance, we sure hope we get to see a lot more of him during this and the future IPLs.
Rahul Dravid (Rajasthan Royals)
Image: Rahul DravidPhotographs: Lee Warren/Gallo Images/Getty Images
He may be the cricketing world's 'wall' but on the hunk quotient he's the composed, suave gentleman that any girl would want to take home to her mother and then go out for a long drive with. (You know, because he wouldn't take you out without permission.) And that's where he scores because chivalry is fast dying. Pity he's already taken.
Daniel Vettori (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Image: Daniel VettoriPhotographs: Ritam Banerjee/Getty Images
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a crush on this cricketer from New Zealand. With his glasses Daniel Vettori looks like the perfect handsome CEO for whom one would want to go to office everyday. Maybe he could do away with the beard. Not that I'm complaining much about that.
Harshal Patel (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Image: Harshal PatelPhotographs: Martin Hunter/Getty Images
A 21-year-old from Gujarat. With his pixie-like ears and the few strands of 'fringe hair' on his forehead, he is quite worth the watch. And if you do manage to get a glimpse of this young man in a suit then you might just forget what work you were doing before you saw him.
Moises Henriques (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Image: Moises HenriquesPhotographs: Chris Hyde/Getty Images
He is one player who looks different in each picture. And good too. I am completely enchanted with Moises Henriques' deep smile. And if that's not enough, then check out this Australian's perfect physique picture in the 2008 Men of Cricket calendar. You are sure to faint.
Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Virat Kohli has attitude and that makes him sexy. Not to forget his expressive eyes that one wants to stare at over a night long candle light dinner.
