Vikram Phadnis dazzled us with his latest line in all gold.

Mumbai-based designer Vikram Phadnis may not have been particularly creative when it came to naming his latest collection -- Gold -- however he did put together an interesting array of designs as he brought the curtains down on Day Three of Lakme Fashion Week. Even as yummy mummy Karisma Kapoor closed the show for the designer, sister Kareena Kapoor watched from the first row.

Staying true to its name, the collection was in shades of gold. We start out with the stunning Kavita Kharayat walking the ramp in this dramatic outfit.

The collection featured natural fabrics, sequin sheeting, brocade, tissue, jersey, net, lace and rich synthetics.

Next up is this sheer net long-sleeved kurta teamed with cigarette pants.

Opulent would probably be the best way to describe Phadnis' creations that included cocktail dresses such as these ones.

Up next is this bolero jacket teamed with a high-slit skirt.

Phadnis' creations also featured palazzo and cigarette pants that have been taking the runways by storm.

Sucheta Sharma walks the ramp in a pair of palazzo pants and a shimmering golden jacket.

Next we have Alesia Raut in a figure-hugging cocktail dress.

Models walk the ramp in stunning evening gowns by Vikram Phadnis.

The range of cocktail wear was young and trendy and featured intricate embroidery like in this outfit.

Yummy mummy Karisma Kapoor dazzled on the runway in a long-sleeved gold gown as she closed the dazzling show.
