What
The Agriculture Research Organization, Israel is inviting applications for Post Doctoral Fellowships from Chinese and Indian students.
The fellowship programme is designed to identify and support young scientists aspiring to become future leaders in the field of Agricultural Sciences in universities of their home countries.
The main purpose of the fellowships is to avail excellent and promising scientists with the opportunity to become proficient in advanced technologies present in the Agriculture Research Organization and to establish future collaborations with Israeli scientists.
The fellowships will be awarded for research during the fiscal year 2014-2015. The total award is 100,000 Israeli Shekels per year.
Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of academic excellence that is reflected in productivity and impact in the field of study (scientific publications, presentations at scientific conferences, participation in scientific societies, awards, and teaching achievements).
Special emphasis will be placed on the applicant's scientific training and achievements.
Who can apply
The Fellowships are intended for Chinese and Indian citizens that have completed a PhD programme from listed institutes. (es)
To participate in the programme, proficiency in English is a requirement. All applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- TOFEL (Test of English as a Foreign Language Minimum Score: 550 (or 213 in the computer version); IELTS (International English Language Testing System Minimum Score: 6.5); MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery Minimum Score: 80)
- Provide proof of completion of a previous degree program in an English language university.
- Provide proof of prolonged residence and exercise of a profession in an English speaking country
- Provide proof of completion of the Advanced English Training by China’s Ministry of Education (For Chinese applicants).

The University of Warwick, United Kingdom is offering engineering scholarships for studying selected MSc courses.
The School of Engineering is awarding a total of 16 scholarships (four awards available per course) each giving a 20 per cent fee discount.
Scholarships are awarded for the following Masters courses:
- MSc Advanced Mechanical Systems
- MSc Biomedical Engineering
- MSc Communications and Information Engineering
- MSc Energy and Power Engineering
Who can apply
Applicants should hold a relevant scientific degree and will have been in the top-half of their class.
Experience of study or work overseas will be of an advantage.
To be considered for this scholarship you must hold an offer for admission on any of the following Masters courses
- MSc Advanced Mechanical Systems
- MSc Biomedical Engineering
- MSc Communications and Information Engineering
- MSc Energy and Power Engineering
The scholarship is open for international students as well.
