CAT 2013 results to be announced January 14

The results of about 194,000 students will be made available on the IIM's offical CAT website January 13 midnight onwards.

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), today announced that the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013 will be available on January 14, 2014.

To secure their results, candidates may log on to the IIM's offical CAT website on www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in Monday, January 13, midnight onwards.

The results will be available online up to December 31, 2014.

Candidates are advised to download and retain a printed copy of their score card.

Reacting to the issue of handling errors in uploading the scorecard, last year, professor Rohit Kapoor, CAT 2013 Convenor said, "Prometric have securely handed over the CAT 2013 results to the IIMs. Management of results data went smoothly, and the IIMs have verified and securely uploaded CAT 2013 results data to our secure site."

The CAT 2013 was conducted successfully in 76 secure test centres across 40 cities over a 20-day testing window from 16 October to 11 November 2013.

Nearly two lakh students appeared for the test this year.

Performance in the CAT will enable admission to the 13 Indian Institutes of Management and most of the top business schools in the country including Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad and SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.

Those who manage to secure a good CAT score will receive letters from the respective IIMs for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
