Readers share pictures of their favourite beaches in India. You can share yours too!

We'd asked you dear readers, to share pictures of your favourite beaches.

Here's the first set of responses we received from you:

Best beach

Manish Kumar Ladha tells us why he feels that Radhanagar beach in Andaman and Nicobar Islands is the best.

"It is clean, has white sand and is surrounded by greenery," he says.

Reader Pradeep Kataria from Gurgaon feels that none of the beaches in India match up to the ones in Andaman.

I have been to almost every well-known beach in India. And I can say that the beaches in Andaman are way better and cleaner then the beaches in other parts in India.

"I have visited Corbyn's Cove, Wandoor, Chidiya Tapu, Bharatpur, Laxmanpur, Kala Patthar, Elephant and Radhanagar beaches in Andaman.

"Undoubtedly Radhanagar is the best beach to enjoy.

"When you are on the island, the mountain on the left and the long seashore on the right make it scenic.

"It is the best beach on Havelock Island and is easily accessible by regular ships and ferries from Port Blair."

Which is the best Indian beach you have been to and why is it your favourite?
