Nalini Kudalkar shares an embarrassing experience. You can share yours too!
Periods can be a boon or bane for women.
During my periods, I used to have a heavy flow, which would result in embarrassing situations at work.
Back home, it was like a religious curfew for those five days.
Once I was in office and had to submit my work to the boss.
It happened to be the day when my flow was very heavy.
I didn't want to leave my seat as I had stained my pyjamas.
I was the only one at work, so reluctantly I got up to submit my work.
My boss' brother was there and I feared he may have noticed the stain on my pyjamas.
When I returned to my seat, he slowly whispered and told me, 'Madam, please do take care of your soiled clothes.'
I immediately informed my boss who was kind enough to grant me leave for the day.
Today, I have reached my menopause, but I still remember that day and am thankful to my boss for his support.
