We'd asked you, dear readers to tell us what is the one life lesson you would want to share.
This is what Rediff reader Ratan Budhani had to share.
You can share your life lessons too. Scroll down to find out how.

Trying to change someone is a waste of time.
The very thought of changing someone is saying that they are not good enough as they are, and that thought is soaked with judgment and disapproval.
That is not a thought of appreciation or love, and these thoughts will only bring separation between you and that person.
Once you change, change happens. This is a big lesson.
Expecting someone else to change is like pleading with a manufacturer to turn TEA into a COFFEE.
You must look for the good in people, to have more of it (their goodness) appear.
As you look only for the good things in a person, you will be amazed at what your new focus reveals.
Write in to getahead@rediff.co.in with 'A life lesson I'd like to share' in the subject line and share your responses along with your NAME, AGE and the place where you LIVE.
