We invited you, our readers, to share images of your travels around the world and we were inundated with your emails.
Here we bring you Amol Tavkar’s photographs of Goa, the land of Sun, Sea & Sand:
Goa -- The name itself spells fun, frolic, RAZZMATAZZ! However, there is another attribute to this place that spells simplicity, peace, serenity and calm. Photographs below, shot with my Nikon SLR, try to capture this aspect of Goa. Hence I call this 'Goa In a different light'.
A picturesque landscape in South Goa. I was taking a stroll on the beach right behind The Lalit Intercontinental and found this water body merging with the sea. The drama in the sky added to the beauty.

The same beach as in the previous photograph -- birds were flying back to their abodes and this one just bid a farewell to the camera lens on its way back!

Goa’s a favorite holiday destination for my wife and daughter. The silhouettes of them enjoying the beach. I was particularly intrigued with their reflections cast in the ripples.

A hint of nostalgia and romance at twilight and a hut-like structure with the sunset in the backdrop captures the mood.
