To start out, we have this beautiful photograph shot by JS Girish at Kotagiri in Tamil Nadu. "This was taken during my early morning walk when the sun rays were struggling to get through the dense trees. This made the serene and peaceful morning walk even better," he writes.

Another photograph by JS Girish of Kotagiri! He writes in: "Found this scene very interesting with the completely green canopy and people working in the estate. Kotagiri was very peaceful, away from the maddening season crowds that flock Ooty. It is also far less commercialised," he writes.

Final photo by JS Girish shot in Himachal Pradesh while on his way to Solang Valley from Manali. Rohtang pass was closed around the time and it was snowing there making it impossible for any vehicles to pass through. Hence, all the vehicles were allowed till Solang Valley only.

I would have preferred to go till Rohtang Pass more so since the snow in Solang valley was dirty and the place was too crowded. The view though, was unbeatable, he says.
