Immediately inform your bank's customer care to minimise chance of fraud
Contact Receiver
Get in touch with the receiver, and ask him or her to return the money to you
Lodge a complaint with your bank, giving it a copy of the transaction as well as the incorrect UPI ID
Call your bank to freeze the account for a temporary period if it is impossible to verify the identity of the receiver or if the recipient is not reachable
Keep a close watch on your bank accounts for any suspicious transactions
