Few others have the kind of range Shantanu and Nikhil have displayed with silhouettes, fabrics and colours.

Their rather silly selfie stunt notwithstanding, Shantanu and Nikhil’s collection at Lakme Fashion Week was possibly one of the best we’ve seen this season.

Called The Shadows Within the collection was inspired by the architecture of the pre-independence era, the designers recreated the colours that defined the look.
