The toy train to majestic views

April 16, 2007
Disappointment awaited me as I reached New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. I had heard loads about the Darjeeling toy train, but much to my chagrin I did not get a ticket.

So, I took a car from New Jalpaiguri station to Darjeeling. As I sped towards the hills and was greeted by the sight of rich green tea estates, I forgot my initial disappointment.
