What: If you have received an offer of admission from an UK institution or are in the process of applying to one and are preparing to leave for the UK soon, attend the annual Pre-Departure Briefings organised by the British Council. The briefings will cover advice on:

  • student visa application and immigration
  • travel
  • settling down in the UK
  • accommodation
  • working part-time
  • health and safety

There will also be an interaction with selected alumni who will share their experiences of studying in the UK. You can meet other students going to the UK and perhaps even to your institution!

This is an opportunity to get your queries answered. Moreover, you are sure to receive expert advice as special guests from the visa section of the British High Commission will be present.

Students and parents are required to register for the event. There are limited seats. Please pre-register to ensure participation. A nominal registration fee will

be charged.
