Most of us are inspired by the fit and fabulous bodies of Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities. In fact, we also wonder how they manage to look perfect like this throughout the year.

Let's look at the real picture here.

Most of these celebrities we admire have a 24/7 nutrition consultant, fitness trainers and physiotherapists at their service.

Every meal is custom made as per their macros (weighted and measured).

Even their restaurant meals are custom made by the chefs as per their requirements.

They are extremely dedicated not only to their diet but also their workout routine.

Most celebrities hardly eat before their big events, going on no salt, high protein or liquid diet.

Some celebrities also take supplements like fat burners to get the desired results.

It takes hours to get their makeup and hair done before a shoot or any appearance. They have a stylist to make them wear clothes that highlight their best features.

Finally, with the help of professional cameras and photo-shoot followed by sharp editing, they look a whole lot better and fitter.

It's not easy to achieve a celebrity-inspired body, but it is very much possible.

Here are some basic tips you can follow:

1. Follow their trainer or a certified nutritionist

If you're trying to achieve having a body like a certain celebrity, do some basic research.

Find out who their personal trainer is, and search for any workouts or articles they may have written.

Also, try to find out if your favourite celebrity follows any special diet or nutritionist who guides them.

This could be your first step to getting introduced to a professional trainer or nutritionist.

2. Stay away from processed food

Eighty percent of a celebrity's body is defined by a good diet.

You can simply start with avoiding processed food and start eating real whole some food which is not coming via plastic, box or tin.

Start having more fruits, vegetables, nuts and lean protein like eggs and chicken.

3. Do a variety of workouts

Invest in a workout plan that includes a series of mixed trainings – from low intensity to high intensity workout.

Include resistance training, cardio, Pilates, HIIT and yoga.

The more variety you have the more muscles are targeted – better results.

Invest in a gym and personal trainer or simply switch on a good workout video from YouTube.

4. Sugar is your enemy

Say bye bye to your favourite dessert.

Limiting sugar will definitely help you maintain that waist line and at the same time improve your skin and bring that natural glow.

5. Cut out booze

Alcohol has nothing but excessive calories and zero nutrients.

It increases your appetite for high calorie foods not only on the day you drink but also the following day.

Giving up on alcohol can drastically increase your chances of achieving the body you desire.

You will certainly drop a few kilos.

It also helps in improving your skin, better quality sleep, heart health.

Bottom line: You will notice an overall improvement in your health.

6. Sleep properly

The real secret to losing weight is a good quality sleep for 7 to 8 hours a day.

Lack of sleep can increase your appetite by changing your hormones which makes us more likely to eat high carbohydrate unhealthy food.

A well-rested body helps muscle recovery which in turn helps us to achieve a better body, great skin and overall more energy the next day.

7. Eat in small portions every few hours

Mini meals can aid in satisfying the appetite, helps to stabilise blood sugar levels and provides nutrients to your body throughout the day.

Smaller, more frequent meals in your daily eating patterns also helps in better metabolism.

Skipping meals can lead to low energy levels. And let’s not forget -- food cravings.

8. Pre plan your meals

Meal planning helps reduce the stress that comes with the 'trying to eat healthy' plan.

Dieting can cause you to think about food all day long. To know what you have to eat helps you to stick to your diet plan better.

Unlike celebrities we can't always get custom made meals at restaurants.

It's always better to know the menu in adance so that you can make a wise decision.

9. Don't rush

The key to your celebrity body is to have consistency, determination and patience.

Take baby steps to achieve your body.

Start slow with an easy diet routine that suits your lifestyle and do a simple low impact workout to start opening up your muscles.

Looking like your favourite celebrity just got easier, didn't it?

Remember the big secret to their body is nothing but a healthy lifestyle!
