Naomi Scott looks impossibly chic as Elle's June cover star.
Meet Elle's latest cover girl! 'Naomi Scott knew she was stepping into big shoes, when she signed up to play Princess Jasmine in the live action adaptation of Disney Aladdin,' writes the mag, as they introduce the actor.
'But this did not intimidate her. Instead, the British-Indian actor breathed new life into her character and brought to life a 21st century Princess Jasmine who is fierce, fabulous and all-round fantastic,' they added.
Dressed in a velvet and net, Naomi looks like she has stepped straight out of a fairy tale, ready to take the world on her magic carpet.
With her hair slicked back, she completed the look with kohl eyes and brown lips.
'Being half Indian, there's a part of me that feels disconnected,' the actor revealed to the mag.
'I think that as you get older, you begin to realise, 'I am who I am'. I don't need to pretend to be one thing or another.'
'I wanted to be Jasminder (from Bend It Like Beckham), not Aishwarya. Aishwarya was the kind of beautiful, elegant Indian woman who I didn't see as much of myself in, as I did with Jasminder,' she added commenting on whether she wanted to be like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan when she was younger.
