Meet the real stars who went all out to make a fashion statement this year.

The Met Gala held at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is considered the 'Oscars of fashion' for a reason.

While every year, the celebrated attendees -- which include actors, models, singers, producers and who's who from the entertainment and glamour industry --  try their best to keep up with the theme, few manage to get it right.

This year's theme -- Camp: Notes On Fashion -- is inspired from American writer-activist Susan Sontag's 1964 essay 'Notes on Camp' which talks about self love, 'love of the unnatural, of artifice and exaggeration.'

While we did miss Rihanna of course, here are just some who made the event worth its while.
