Adaa Mallikk debuts at Paris fashion week

The 24 year old daughter of musician Anu Malik showcased her collection 'Metal Armour' at the fashion week.

Paris Fashion Week recently came to an end.

Adaa Mallikk, daughter of musician-composer Anu Malik represented India by showcasing her collection 'Metal Armour' at the iconic Champs Elysees Paris.

Adaa was a part of Flying Solo’s presentation during Paris Fashion Week, which featured collections of clothing, accessories, jewellery and shoes amid a packed house of top media, influencers, stylists, and industry mavens.

"I was invited by Elizabeth Solomeina, the show director of Flying Solo," shared Adaa.

"My collection 'Metal Armour' was inspired by a heartbreak. It focuses on the transformation of the female protagonist. The collection diffuses from soft romantic hues, to strong and powerful metallic silhouettes."

Adaa’s couture designs were worn by gorgeous models -- Kiara Simons, Lea, Victoria, Ksenia Ocheredko, Kira Kalcheva, Courtney Price, Heloisa Suarez, and Lara.

Commenting on her work, Silvia D’Avila, jewellery designer with Elizabeth Solomeina said, "Our youngest designer Adaa Malik brings that edgy vibe with a futuristic collection that is extremely wearable! We are so proud to have her!"

In a short duration, Flying Solo has proved to be one of the biggest fashion platforms launching careers of many independent designers; Adaa’s debut there, makes a statement, amidst shows by celebrated Indian designers like Manish Arora and Rahul Mishra.
