Designer duo Hemant & Nandita and Gaurav Gupta embraced a palette of colours at Amazon India Fashion Week Fall 2016.
Want to add a splash of colours to your wardrobe?
Designers Hemant & Nandita and Gaurav Gupta showed us how to experiment with colours and have fun with fashion.
Inspired by a recent trip to the mountains, husband-wife duo Hemant & Nandita's 'The Dark Enchantress' collection was truly captivating. The dense shades of red, earthy brown, midnight blue with a dash of gold, bronze and copper made each ensemble worth a second look.
Meanwhile designer Gaurav Gupta's glamourous 'Melt' collection brought our attention to climate change. An almost zero-waste collection, it looked like Gaurav draped the entire width of fabric into each outfit to cut down on waste.
Scroll down to take a look at the best designs from their shows.
The Dark Enchantress
![Archana Akhil Kumar](//im.rediff.com/getahead/2016/mar/17hemant-nandita1.jpg?w=670&h=900)
Image: We felt close to mother Nature when Archana Akhil Kumar strutted her stuff in a flirty bling number with large floral motifs. Apt for a date night!
![Aishwarya Sushmita](//im.rediff.com/getahead/2016/mar/17hemant-nandita2.jpg?w=670&h=900)
Image: Aishwarya Sushmita looked nothing less than a valiant princess in this embroidered bomber over a pair of high-waist culottes. The chunky neckpiece and thigh high lace ups upped her style quotient.
![Alesia Raut](//im.rediff.com/getahead/2016/mar/17hemant-nandita3.jpg?w=670&h=900)
Image: Botanical prints on fur-lined coats over slit skirts enhanced the magnificence of the collection, just like Alesia Raut's look here.
![Kanishtha Dhankar](//im.rediff.com/getahead/2016/mar/17hemant-nandita4.jpg?w=670&h=900)
Image: Kanishtha Dhankar's sharp pant suit -- that oozed panache -- lent a classy twist to prints.

Melt by Gaurav Gupta
![Sony Kaur](//im.rediff.com/getahead/2016/mar/17gaurav-gupta1.jpg?w=670&h=900)
Image: Sony Kaur's flaming tangerine cut-out jumpsuit with no accessories showed us how 'less is more' in fashion.
![Surelee Joseph](//im.rediff.com/getahead/2016/mar/17gaurav-gupta2.jpg?w=670&h=900)
Image: Remember Emilia Clarke aka Khaleesi's queenly ensembles in American fantasy drama series The Game of Thrones? We found a similar structured gown with an interesting bodice donned by Surelee Joseph.

Image: And asymmetric sari gowns in fluid neoprene fabric, like this one in beige and gold were also in the spotlight.
