Winter recipe: Green salad with sprouts and beans

Rediff reader Nishtha Monarch Joshi, 35, from Vadodara, Gujarat shares her special winter recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm cabbage
  • 150 gm capsicum
  • 150 gm cucumber
  • 50 gm green Peas
  • 30 gm rajma, boiled
  • 30 gm chick peas, boiled 
  • 3 tbsp moong, sprouted
  • 3 tbsp matki
  • 3 tbsp cow peas
  • 3 tbsp black-eyed peas
  • ½ black pepper
  • Rock salt
  • 3 tsp lemon
  • 5 tsp cream/mayo/hung curd

Method

  • Mix all well with spoon and fork in big salad bowl. Dived into two required portions. You can add cream or mayo. Serve plain or with roti.
