Recipe: How to make Saffron Badam Milk

The goodness of milk, saffron and almonds -- in a single recipe -- what more can you ask for?

Here's the recipe for Saffron Badam Milk:

Saffron Badam Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond, soaked
  • 1 litre milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cardamom
  • 1 tsp saffron strands

Method

  • Remove the skin of the soaked almonds and slice the almonds or grind them into a paste.
  • In a large pan, add the milk and bring to a boil.
  • Add almonds, sugar and saffron and cook till the milk is slightly thickened.
  • Serve chilled.
