The goodness of milk, saffron and almonds -- in a single recipe -- what more can you ask for?
Here's the recipe for Saffron Badam Milk:
Saffron Badam Milk
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond, soaked
- 1 litre milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cardamom
- 1 tsp saffron strands
Method
- Remove the skin of the soaked almonds and slice the almonds or grind them into a paste.
- In a large pan, add the milk and bring to a boil.
- Add almonds, sugar and saffron and cook till the milk is slightly thickened.
- Serve chilled.
