Pastry chef Namal Kalubowila, Mövenpick Hotel Colombo, Sri Lanka brings to you a simple and delicious gluten-free chocolate cake recipe.
Ingredients (for one kg cake):
- 5 eggs
- 200 gm sugar
- 200 gm almond powder
- 125 gm melted butter
- 250 gm melted dark chocolate
Method:
- Mix sugar, almond powder, eggs and melted butter. Once mixed well, add melted chocolate to this mixture. Mix well until the mixture is thick.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes at the oven temperature of 160˚C.
