Today, Reshma Alam brings us this recipe for Golden Fried Chicken:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg chicken drumsticks
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tbsp red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- Salt to taste
- Pulp of 2 small tomatoes
Method:
- Marinate chicken drumsticks in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt and tomato pulp for 2-3 hours. (The longer you marinate, the better it will taste.)
- Cook the chicken for 30 minutes till all the juices dry up and then let it cool.
- In a bowl, whisk two eggs and in a separate plate, spread the breadcrumbs.
- Coat the chicken drumsticks in the egg yolk and coat them with breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry the drumsticks till they become golden brown. (It should take about 10 minutes of frying time for the chicken to be done.)
- Served with sauce of your choice.
