Use a toothpick to press a lift button, suggests Heera Nawaz

Heera Nawaz from Bengaluru says:

1. STAY AT HOME. And she capitalises that.

"Not enough can be said about this. This virus is so contagious and during the lockdown period we want the graph to flatten and therefore it is imperative to stay at home.

"Don't be tempted to go out, no matter what.

"Doctors and nurses have emphasised that it may feel as if one is caged up, but DO NOT GO OUT.

"Even one person going out and then testing positive can make a huge difference."

2. "Try not to use the switches and lift buttons outside your apartment with your fingers.

"Instead, use a toothpick or matchstick and throw it away afterwards."

3. "Cough into your elbow and try to open taps with your elbows."

4. "Divide all groceries and food items into two parts.

"Half of your dining table can be allotted for groceries coming in.

"After they have been wiped properly with a virus disinfectant, transfer them to the other side of the table.

"Before and after touching food items, wash your hands with soap, lathering for 20 seconds."
