What: Child Rights and You (CRY) is looking to fill the post of Assistant Manager, Communications.

Location: Mumbai

Job description
The Assistant Manager will represent the communications function in the location advocating for one of India's best-known non-profit brands. The role will cover all marketing as well as media advocacy / public relations disciplines. S/he will be responsible to coordinate with the various teams in the location, develop, coordinate and execute plans in keeping with the communication strategy to effectively position the CRY brand to internal and external stakeholders. S/he will have to seek avenues to increase visibility of CRY in the media and also through direct methods of communication, campaigns, brand management, advertising, PR and more, thereby increasing awareness of CRY's work and positioning CRY as a voice of authority on child rights.

Qualifications
A post graduate degree / diploma in mass communication, social sciences or journalism or public relations or advertising.

Experience
4 - 6 years of experience with demonstrated ability to multi task

Special requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi and the regional language(Marathi) are essential.
  • Experience in a similar field will be an added advantage.
