What: The Common Law Admission Test scsheduled for May 17, 2009, has been postponed.

Details

Two locked and sealed steel boxes containing the CLAT-2009 Test material have been tampered with deliberately by breaking the latches and the locks, while these boxes were in transit from Hyderabad to Lucknow through Blue Dart Courier services. On examination, it is reported by the Registrar, RMLNLU, Lucknow that it seems to be a case of deliberate tampering with the boxes.

In view of the above, there is no other alternative except to postpone the CLAT-2009 Test both for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses and now it shall not be held on May 17, 2009 as scheduled earlier.

The new date of CLAT-2009 Test shall be announced shortly after details are worked out by the Core Committee of Eleven Vice-Chancellors of National Law Universities. The candidates shall retain the Hall Tickets already dispatched to them and they shall use the same in the rescheduled CLAT-2009

Test.
