Look for the bright spots
"Find the bright spots and invest your time and energy and resources in expanding those bright spots."
Define the problem
"The best advice I have received is to clearly define the problem you are trying to solve. Spend as much time as you can trying to understand the problem you are solving. Then run as many experiments as you can to figure out how to solve that problem."
Know you don't know everything
"Often when you are under 30 you hopefully have the recognition that you don't know a lot and I think that's a tremendous asset."
Be reckless
"(When we started) we literally had nothing but a name and an idea… There was some ways in which we were reckless and careless, but I can't imagine a better way to have spent my time when I was 22."
Be a learner
The key to success is "falling in love with a problem, learning all about it, experimenting aggressively, being a learner."
And of course be 'unreasonable'
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable person."
