The main Warzone multi-player mode contains various match types, such as search and destroys, team deathmatch, assassination, and capture the flag. These match objectives change on the fly and you're constantly moving from one match type to the other, without having to ever quit to the online lobby.
For offline gamers wanting a taste of Warzone, there is Skirmish mode. Here, you can take to one of the multi-player maps along with 15 bots. You can also use bots online in case you don't have enough players. The most obvious missing feature in Killzone 2 is a co-op mode. But the story mode and Warzone more than make up for it.
