Study print journalism at Manorama School of Communication

What: MASCOM (Manorama School of Communication) invites applications for its one-year post-graduate diploma course in Print Journalism.

Important dates:

  • Deadline for receiving completed applications: April 25, 2009
  • Entrance Examination: May 9, 2009
  • Interviews and beginning of classes: June, 2009

Details:

  • The medium of instruction at MASCOM is English, but students are free to choose between English and Malayalam streams for specialisation.
  • The school will help provide admitted students with comfortable, furnished quarters and the canteen offers meals at subsidised rates.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline and those awaiting degree results may apply.
  • Selection is based on an entrance examination to be held at Delhi [Images], Mumbai [Images], Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, various centres in Kerala [Images] and in Dubai [Images] (UAE), and an interview at MASCOM in Kottayam.

Requests for the prospectus and application form should be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs 500/- in favour of MASCOM, payable at Kottayam, Kerala.
