Team effort paid off

September 24, 2008
Speaking about the AUV Akshay says that it was a team effort and praises all his team members without whom he says it would not have been possible.

"The development of AUV was entirely done by the team, right from designing of the model to its fabrication. The electronic circuit and power systems were also done from scratch. Individual components were studied to make sure they used the best one in their vehicle."

Lack of components, unavailability of equipments on time and sub-standard items did bother them quite a bit, but they finally came up with the right things to use for the AUV, he says.

After all the sleepless nights and daunting efforts, the members believe it was a team effort and able guidance of their seniors that turned their dream into reality.

"It was all worth it!" Akshay Kumar recalls with a smile.
