We were like royalty
There were a few tables scattered out on the terrace. It was a lean season and since it was virtually empty we were treated like royalty that evening!
And then I saw the cannons. There were kept all around the ramparts. The cannons had beautiful designs engraved on them and I wondered how someone could put so much into making a weapon look so beautiful when it was created to take lives.
