You can buy lovely decorated candles and candle-holders from your local stores or then malls like Globus and Lifestyle. Aromatic candles, ornamental candles that you'll never have the heart to light, floating candles, they have them all.
Also, candles are preferable to diyas if you're practical-minded; they don't require oil to light up and don't create any mess on your floor.
