Shillong

October 1, 2008
The Scotland of the East, they say. And though you won't find a bagpipe, this is probably a good thing (not the most romantic of instruments).

But make no mistake, Shillong's beauty is unsurpassed, not only in India, but in the world at large. Let the crisp, cool mountain air and rolling, lush green hills take you away. Find love in the abode of the clouds.

Oh, and don't forget. When trekking, there's plenty of foliage and many hidden pathways where you and a loved one can disappear, if only for a while.
