Blossom Kochhar's latest venture is to make the spa experience available to those (all over India and some places abroad) whose pockets aren't too deep. Body treatments at one of her centers, ranging from Rs 1,000-5,000 are extremely affordable for working women. Two of these spas have already been launched in Punjab, and she intends to launch one each month in different cities of India and abroad.
Also in the race to provide low cost spa treatments on a large scale is Shahnaz Hussain. Her spas, some of which are already up and running, will give you a great massage without burning a hole in your pocket. The one at Novotel Hyderabad, was launched this year and offers various packages that are quite reasonable. You will need to shell out about Rs 1800 for a massage here. Some salons offer selected spa treatments as well. The Lakme Salon in Vashi, Mumbai doesn't offer full-body massages, but if you would like a facial or a top body massage, they will do it for you.
