Flame of the hills

Just as we were returning towards Purulia, a thunderstorm started. It was probably the season's first Kalbaishakhi (thunderstorm). We welcomed the chilly, stormy wind that refreshed us after our activity-filled day.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

But had we stayed back on the hilltop overnight we could have seen something spectacular. Due to the storm, hundreds and thousands of Palash flowers would have fallen from the trees, rolling out a red carpet path on Ayodhya Hills.

Perhaps we missed that sight!
