2006 will also be remembered as a year when the 'wardrobe malfunction' made its presence felt on Indian soil. Model Carol Gracias experienced a similar incident -- she was left topless on stage when her Bennu Sehgall outfit came undone during the Lakme India Fashion Week. Gracias' ensemble took a beating and we got a bit of a peek-a-boo.
Interestingly, Carol, also the winner L'Oreal/Elite 'Look of the year', held the clothing back in place, and continued to catwalk with poise and confidence, even striking a pose on the way back.
Two days later, former Miss India Gauhar Khan's skirt zipper split on the ramp, revealing more than was intended, as she modelled for Lascelles Symons.
