Riding an elephant alone!

Another fascinating thing we saw was two separate trees joined together naturally. I named it Conjoined Trees.

Soon it was time to head back to Bangalore. We took a new route on our return journey, via Chintamani. The road up to Chintamani was good. It was pretty bad after that.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

We reached Bangalore by late noon had lunch on our way before heading home.

How to get there

Kaundinya Wildlife Sanctuary is 50 km from Chittoor, the closest railway station. Kolar is 30 km away. The closest airport is at Bangalore which is 120 km from Chittoor.

For more information, contact the Palamaneru forest guesthouse DFO Phone: (08572) 22296 or check the AP government web site.
