Riding an elephant alone!

After our elephant adventure we, along with a guide, headed to a watchtower deep inside the forest. The landscape was full of bushes and shrubs and we reached the watchtower after walking for about 5 km. Luck was not our side and we did not sight any wildlife enroute or from the watchtower.

We headed back to Kuppam in the evening and stayed the night at the forest guesthouse where we had a heavy meal and also caught a late night show of the latest Chiranjeevi movie.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

Next morning, we started early, our route: Palamaneru -- Madanapalle -- Horsley Hills.

Horsley Hills, about 87 km from Kaundinya sanctuary, is a small hill town located at 1265 m above sea level, just like Nandi Hills near Bangalore.
