VNIT announces MTech programmes

What: Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology opens admissions to its full-time MTech programmes for 2008-09.

Programme details

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to following courses (two-years duration):

1. Environment Engineering

2. Water Resources Engineering

3. Integrated Power Systems

4. VLSI Design

5. Structural Engineering

6. Structural Dynamics & Earthquake Engineering

7. Industrial Engineering

8. Heat Power Engineering

9. Ferrous Process Metallurgy

10. Materials Engineering

11. Computer Aided Design & Computer Aided Manufacturing

12. Urban Planning

13. Computer Science Engineering

Application details

~ Details regarding the availability of seats, eligibility conditions, admission procedure, reservation and application form etc are available on the website www.vnitnagpur.ac.in from June 10, 2008.

~ The application form for the above programmes can be downloaded from this site.

~ Three per cent seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped category.

~ No seats are available for Sponsored category in Environmental Engineering Course.

~ In all categories, GATE-qualified candidates will be given first preference.

~ Please note that candidates having qualification MSc in Physics or Chemistry or Materials Science are eligible to apply for the MTech course in Materials Engineering

~ The completed application form along with attested copies of relevant documents/ certificates and crossed DD of Rs 500/- drawn in favour of The Director, VNIT, Nagpur payable at Nagpur must reach the address below on or before June 26, 2008.

~ A separate application form must be submitted for each course along with the prescribed fees.
