This is a sure indicator that there is something amiss. Also it does not leave a very good impression since you would probably be as quick to leave the new job. Make sure you give yourself at least a week or have a good explanation for how you can quit so soon.
No matter how urgent the vacancy, the interviewer is aware that companies require this of their employees and the fact that you are willing to serve out the notice period means that you are responsible and a team player.
This will work if you have a good reason for wanting to take the time off -- illness, family concerns or just a trip to rejuvenate. If you give a suitable explanation for your time away, the interviewer should not have a problem.
