Nikasha Tawadey's 'Wandering Minstrels' collection
next
Nikasha Tawadey's collection this season, titled 'Wandering Minstrels', takes its inspiration from the Bauls of Bengal, who travel all over India, performing and spreading communal joy and harmony.

Just as they patron different faiths like Tantrism, Sufism, Buddhism and Vaishnavism, Nikasha's creations bring together different cuts, colours and fabrics. Moreover, she has named each ensemble.

Seen here is 'Indrani', a Chinese collared kurta-like blouse, teamed with harem pants in beige. Note the heavy beaded necklace -- it seems inspired by garlic cloves bunched together.
