Minissha Lamba pledged her support and admiration for designer Vikram Phadnis at the Lakme Fashion Week.

When reporters repeatedly tried to turn the conversation towards her career and Bollywood gossip, Minissha refused to play along.

"I'm here to support Vikram, and that's what I'd like to discuss," she said.

"He's my favourite designer for two main reasons. Firstly, everything he creates is not only beautiful, it's also very wearable! That's the key, at least for me, with fashion. Wearbility! Wearability! Wearability!"

"Secondly, he refuses to create clothes for a mass audience. When you work with him, he considers every aspect of your individuality. He truly understands the uniqueness of each person, and his work always reflects that."

When asked by rediff.com if she found his collection the day's highlight, Minissha again refused to bite.

"I don't believe fashion should be compared designer vs designer. Instead, it's about watching each designer's growth and progress, against himself. In Vikram's case, I think he not only gets better and better with each show, but he's also very consistent. It's as if he never has a bad design!"
