We saw lots of silhouettes ideal for formal wear -- ie panelled dresses, coatdresses, sheaths, shifts, empire line minis and kneelength dresses.
They were teamed with shrugs (shoulder jackets with sleeves), boleros (short jackets) and waistcoats.
