Metallica meets romance

Geometric shapes and graphic detailing dominated the collection of designer couple Shyamal and Bhumika.

Dresses in clean-cut silhouettes and bold designs were given a feminine touch -- with a little help from puffed sleeves and belted waists. Black gloves lent an air of mystery to the look.

The fabrics used included woven matka silks, raw silk, silk wool, georgettes and crepe silks in colours like metallic silver, rich gold, copper, red, yellow and grey.

Also seen was men's wear in simple shirts, with detailing on the cuffs and front; these were teamed with straight trousers.
