A trek to remember
We made it back to civilization at 7 pm! We reached Satisha's house at Mullodi where I had a hot bath and some excellent food prepared by Satisha's mother before retiring for the day.

I woke up next morning at 8 am to find the entire landscape covered in mist and then it started raining cats and dogs!
I was glad I had taken Satisha's advice to trek the previous day itself. Else my trek plans would have gone for a toss!
I spent the rest of the day lazing around and left Mullodi at around 6 pm. I boarded the 10.30 pm bus at Kalasa and reached Bangalore at 5 am the next morning.
How to get there
The closest airport/railhead is Mangalore, 130 km away. Kudremukh is well connected by road with Chikmagalur (100 km), Mangalore and Bangalore (350 km).
