This is another category of beauty products that is fast attaining respectability in the men's room. "I have been using a moisturiser for over a year now," says Vikram (name changed). "I feel my skin has become so much better. In my teens, I would travel on my bike a lot and hence had become very dark but my moisturiser cum fairness cream has helped improved my colour and complexion."
He now applies moisturiser everyday after bath. "I was very careful of the brand I picked. If a moisturiser can improve your face, it can also send it to the dogs. I zeroed in on a cream-based moisturiser after a lot of trial and error."
There are other men who say that they use their sister's or partner's moisturiser. "My wife picked up a moisturiser for me just out of the blue. Surprisingly, it worked fine for me," says Deepak Arora, "I don't carry my moisturiser around but I do take it with me when I am traveling outside the country."
Today's society is one in which stereotypes are being questioned, and even scoffed at. So there's no reason why guys should feel the need to cling to the quintessential masculine stereotype of 'I don't care about my looks'!
