These faces have made their mark

September 21, 2006
More about Vibnitha...

Expert speak: Choreographer Lubna Adam says she's tall, beautiful and extraordinarily photogenic. Another designer adds that she has potential and sometimes shows tremendous stage presence, but is just a little gawky at other times. He says she needs a bit of grooming, but she should get there.

Fitness regime: "I do workout, but not very regularly!" She says her beauty and grooming regime is very basic, but works wonders for her. "I sleep when I can and drink a lot of water."

Why she loves being a model: "I think it gives you a head start at a very young age," says Vibnitha. "You grow up very quickly. It teaches you a lot about life."

The dark side of modelling: "It is terribly short-lived. When the going is good, it is really intense. When it fizzles out, you feel out in the cold and don't know how to accept that it's over. I have seen it happen to people and don't want to fall into that trap." Although Vibnitha is dead serious about modelling, she also has a Masters in Fashion Management from NIFT and has the foresight to diversify.

Overall rating: 6+ out of 10.

The WLIFW experience: "You have to be at your best and better than that -- there's double pressure on a newcomer, but it was fun."

Shows she did: Varun Behl, Pratap, Gaurav Gupta.
