Get Ahead reader Shrish* has just received admission to ICFAI Institute Of Science & Technology, Hyderabad.
The course: a B Tech in Computer Science & Engineering.
But Shirish has some doubts. He wants to know how well-known the insitutute is and how good the course is.
Next, according to Shishir, the institute is not recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education, a statuary body that oversees technical education in India.
Will the lack of approval make any difference to the degree and eventually hinder his career? How important is it for a college offering technical education to be approved by the AICTE?
Give Shirish a helping hand by posting your views, information, tips and suggestions.
If you are a working professional in the technical field, an HR recruiter, a placement consultant or currently a student at an institute which offers technical education, Shirish would love to hear from you.
