What: National Institute of Open Schooling, an autonomous organisation of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, invites applications for admission to its various Vocational Education Courses.

Details

~ Some of the courses offered are as follows:

  • Jute Production Technology
  • Bakery and Confectionery
  • Plant Protection
  • Oyster Mushroom Production Technology
  • Play Centre Management
  • Hotel Front Office Operations
  • Preservation of Fruits and Vegetables
  • Childhood Care and Education
  • Toy Making and Joyful Learning
  • Library Science
  • Diploma in Basic Rural Technology

~ The duration of the courses varies from six months to two years.

~ The courses are conducted at Accredited Vocational Institutions located throughout the country where the candidate will be required to take admission.

~ Vocational courses are also conducted in Special Accredited Institutions for education of the disadvantaged.
